Responsibilities
Design, fabricate, test, modify and evaluate complex mechanical and electro-mechanical components, sub-systems and systems found on industrial HVAC units; Candidates with experience designing heat exchanger or related products will also be considered
Prepare design specifications, analyses and recommendations for presentation and approval
Create product test procedures
Interface with manufacturing engineering teams on product manufacturing feasibility
Coordinate the efforts of drafters/designers, engineering technicians and machine shop personnel
Requirements
BS in Engineering
5+ years’ experience designing HVAC units for manufacturing, preferably commercial grade; designing heat exchanger or related products will also be considered
Strong foundation with design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans
Expert knowledge of mechanical and manufacturing theory and design
Knowledge of Copper and aluminum brazing OR copper coil design experience is preferred but not required
Experience with analytical and CAD software
